The entrance to the HQ is on the short block of 17th Street between Broadway & Telegraph across the street from the Youth Radio building. Enter through the open door at the street and come on up to the third floor, past the hairstylists on the 2nd floor.

The sunny studio with wood floors, and high ceilings is in a 3rd floor walk-up.

Bring your own small water bottle. We have filtered water available at the bathroom tap.

Mats, blankets, blocks, straps and bolsters are available.

Shiatsu mats are provided for bodywork & massage workshops.

Cycling

Bring a good lock if you’re cycling, no bikes in the studio or hallway.

Parking

Located in the heart of Downtown Oakland, parking requires some consideration…

Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
The most reliable parking is at the shiny, new city parking lot on the corner of San Pablo and 18th St. Parking in this lot can be paid for with a credit card for a maximum of 4 hours at the usual $2/hr rate. Note: payment is required for parking in this lot until 9pm, if you’re coming for an evening class or event, simply park on the street. This is one long block and one short block away from the HQ.

There is often parking on 18th St. between San Pablo and Telegraph. This is $2/hr, 2 hour maximum, payable with a credit card. Note: this is a one way, east bound street.

There is often parking on 17th St. between Franklin and Webster. This is $2/hr, 2 hour maximum, payable with a credit card. Note: this is a one way, east bound street.

There is plenty of other parking in the neighborhood but some of it is 1 hour and some of it requires that you have lots of quarters on hand.

Free parking on the street, of course?

Saturdays
Free parking on Saturdays and Sundays at the city parking garage on Clay at 15th street, be sure to check the hours, it gets locked up at night.
