Benefits of one-on-one sessions:

  • Setting up a foundation. For beginners, private sessions are a great way to establish a strong base in their yoga practice. A solid foundation in asana (poses) and linking breath with movement can ease the transition into group classes.
  • Personal goals. Working one-on-one with an instructor can help correct bad habits that we tend to fall into as a result of our unique body characteristics. The instructor can also workshop particular poses or transitions that the student wishes to strengthen and help build a personalized practice based on the needs and goals of the student.

  • Yoga on your schedule. Students are able to easily create a routine that fits into their schedule.

  • Working with injuries. For students working with injuries, private yoga instruction is a great way to customize their practice to their conditions and learn modifications to bring into group classes.
