Class Pricing
$14 Single Class
$120 for 10 Classes, must be used within 6 months, non-transferrable
$7 Single Childcare, $3 for each additional sibling
$7 per class for those who qualify: Teens, FYTT students, FYTT graduates, Downtown Oakland YMCA members with valid ID. A 10 class purchase is $60 for those who qualify.
- If you have any injuries or conditions, please inform the teacher before class begins. If you are already familiar with how to modify your practice or if would like assistance from the instructor, let them know.
- You will need to fill out a waiver form when you come for your first class or event at the studio.
- Students are rarely turned away due to overcrowding. If so, it’s on a first come, first serve basis.
- Begin your membership on any day, it doesn’t need to be at the beginning of the month
- Cash, checks, debit and credit cards accepted

These classes prepare pregnant women for labor and delivery through postures, breathing exercises and relaxation. The class focuses on a gentle flow of movement to increase your overall strength and flexibility with modifications to accommodate the various stages of pregnancy. Whether you are new to yoga or already have an established yoga practice these unique classes offer you techniques to restore balance and vitality during pregnancy and assist in preparing for and providing relief during labor and birth.
Classes included in Prenatal Membership:

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: 5:30 - 6:45 pm
Saturday & Sunday: 10:00 - 11:15
Sunday Restorative Yoga (open to all): 6:45 - 8:00 pm
These classes are oriented to the special needs of new mothers. Babies of pre-crawling age are welcome to this class. The Postnatal practice focuses on helping to restore alignment and tone and provide relief from lifting, carrying, and nursing. The Postnatal class provides a supportive community for new mothers and babies three weeks old to crawling.

Your kids can play just steps away from your yoga class, closely supervised by Barefoot Movement staff in our second yoga studio across the hall. Our childcare staff are trained in childcare and/or are parents themselves. Children ages 6 weeks to 12 years old are welcome! Please bring anything your child needs.
Offered during Level 2-3 Vinyasa Flow Yoga:
Saturdays, 11:30 - 12:45
This class focuses on relieving stress and encouraging deep relaxation. By supporting the body completely using blankets, bolsters, straps, and blocks these unique poses are held for an extended period (5- 20minutes). The sequences are designed to move the spine in all directions, stimulate and soothe your organs and reverse the effects of gravity on the body. It is a wonderful complement to a Vinyasa Flow practice. Modifications are given throughout class for the pregnant students.
