Barefoot Movement offers complete programs in both massage and yoga for those interesting in sharing their skills and discoveries with others. Participants may have goals in creating full time careers, side jobs or hobbies while others participate for personal growth reasons and to take their own practices to the next level.

Flow Yoga Teacher Training, Level I has been in existence since 2008. It is a 200 hour program and is registered with the governing body: Yoga Alliance (YA). Over 60 students have completed FYTT Level I and over 20 of those graduates are teachers at the HQ. It provides a comprehensive overview of yoga and develops the skills needed to instruct a Flow Yoga class, including an understanding of how to work with students of all levels.

Flow Yoga Teacher Training, Level II is a new program at the HQ and is also registered with YA. Unlike the Level I program, portions of the Level II program are made accessible to serious students and teachers who are not enrolled in the full program, you will find them on the Workshops page. This program focuses more on deepening one’s practice and understanding of yoga, it assumes an understanding of teaching methodology is already in place.

The Center for Barefoot Massage is in its initial stages of development. Classes, workshops and practice sessions are offered. All forms of massage taught and practiced at the Center for Barefoot Massage are clothes-on and happen on a mat on the floor. Certifications are soon to come but not available at this point. All massage styles offered are floor/mat-based rather than table.
