Calistoga, 2015
This mixed-level weekend retreat is an opportunity to practice yoga together in a beautiful, natural setting, away from the usual distractions of daily life. We will explore a balanced practice over the weekend including asana, movement, breathing techniques, and relaxation, led by Leah Gillman. Classes will be offered in a way to accommodate a variety of levels, but some experience with yoga is recommended. All students are (always) encouraged to modify the practice so that it meets their needs.
In addition to yoga classes, there will be time to swim in the spectacular ozone pool with awe-inspiring views overlooking miles of untouched land, take a walk on hiking trails, relax in the hot tub or discover your favorite place to read or meditate.
Mayacamas Ranch is set on a hilltop outside of Calistoga at the northern tip of the Napa Valley. This beautiful ranch, overlooking miles of undeveloped land, is the perfect setting for a yoga retreat. The surrounding views of mountains, forest, and chaparral invite you to slow down. The facilities are clean and comfortable and the cuisine, which includes produce from their own organic gardens, is excellent. The yoga studio is fully equipped; you will not need to bring your own yoga props. Mayacamas Ranch is secluded, yet easily accessible from the Bay Area.
